On opening night, we honored our very own Jeremy Ricochet Hynek as our Geico Difference Maker in the Community. Jeremy served as our team's mascot, Ricochet, for a remarkable 7 years. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him cherished him for his boundless energy and unwavering passion, both on and off the ice. Every time he put on that costume, he did so with immense pride, representing the team, whether it was at our games or out in the community. The thousands of smiles he brought to not only children's faces but also to the faces of all our fans stand as a testament to his unwavering dedication.

There was nothing he hesitated to attempt, whether it was scaling walls or balancing on the boards at the Stable. His fearless spirit and profound inner strength are qualities that he now calls upon as he's been battling melanoma for the past 2 years. Jeremy is taking on cancer head-on, and he refuses to give up. Jeremy's advice to all of you is simple yet profound: Live in the Moment. Keep Fighting Ricochet.
