Five Cedar Rapids RoughRiders players have earned recognition on the NHL Central Scouting Preliminary Players to Watch List.

Matas Janulis, David Bosco, Carter Ernst, Ethan Gingeleskie, and Marshall Paul were among the players recognized by NHL Central Scouting.

Janulis received a "B" rating, identifying him as a potential second or third round NHL Draft candidate. Bosco, Ernst, Gingeleskie, and Paul each received a "W" rating, identifying them as potential sixth or seventh round NHL Draft candidates.

The Preliminary Players to Watch List identifies prospects eligible for the upcoming NHL Draft who have drawn the attention of NHL scouts. The list serves as an early evaluation of players as they continue their development throughout the season.

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders congratulate all five players on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to their continued success.
