The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are proud to announce the signing of defenseman Marshall Paul to a USHL Standard Player Development Agreement for the 2027–28 season.

Marshall, a native of Greenville, South Carolina, played last season for Avon Old Farms School. He brought a strong physical presence and a consistent first pass from the backend, helping Avon Old Farms capture the New England Prep Super 8 Championship.

"The RoughRiders are excited to welcome Marshall and the Paul family to Ridertown. Marshall is a passionate, committed player who has made great strides over the past few years," said RoughRiders Head Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson. "He makes a good first pass, plays a hard, reliable defensive game and provides strong leadership to his team. Our staff looks forward to helping Marshall develop his game to the highest level."
