Kearney, NE – March 22, 2026 – The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders clinched a Clark Cup Playoff berth on Friday night and extended their USHL leading point streak to 14 games while earning four big points over the weekend with two road wins against the Tri-City Storm in Kearney.

Friday Night
Friday night saw three different RoughRiders score goals as Sullivan Miller, Henry Lechner, and Connor Davis all found the back of the net in the Riders' 3–1 victory. Miller and Justin Graf each recorded two point nights, while goaltender Joseph Skidmore stopped 19 shots for his 10th win of the season. The Riders were extremely disciplined and did not commit a single penalty in Friday's victory, and the win clinched a Clark Cup Playoff berth for Cedar Rapids.

Saturday Night
On Saturday, Cedar Rapids jumped out to a quick 1–0 lead just 20 seconds into the contest as Braiden Scuderi scored his 11th goal of the season. At the 8:33 mark of the first period, Jason Musa made it 2–0 after the first 20 minutes of play. To start the second period, Musa scored again just 1:58 into the period for his second goal of the night and his 21st of the season. Tri-City answered with a power play goal, making it 3–1 after two periods. Tri-City scored a goal in the third period to make it 3-2 but the Riders held onto the lead and secured the road victory. Ryan Cameron made 19 saves to pick up his 22nd win of the season.

Jason Musa's two goals Saturday made him the fourth RoughRiders player to reach the 20 goal mark this season. Ethan Piercy continued his strong play and is now a +20 on the season, which leads all USHL rookies. Over the two games, the Riders outshot Tri-City 66–41.

With the two wins, the RoughRiders improved to 32-16-3-6 (73 points) on the season and have now won eight straight road games, improving to 17-9-4 on the road. Cedar Rapids currently sits in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference, just three points out of 2nd place with five games remaining in the regular season.

The RoughRiders return to The Stable for two big home games this Wednesday and Friday in Dupaco Cowbell Cup matchups against the Des Moines Buccaneers.
