The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are proud to announce the signing of forward Alex Stiehr to a USHL Standard Player Development Agreement for the 2027–28 season.

Alex, a native of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, played last season for the St. Louis AAA Blues program. He made a significant impact, recording 35 goals and 16 assists in 54 games.

"Congratulations to Alex and his family. Our staff is excited to help Alex develop to the highest level, both on and off the ice," said RoughRiders Head Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson. "Alex is a well-rounded forward who contributes at both ends of the ice. He is a very important part of our future."
